Introduction
Panchasheela Welfare Association (R) was started in 1991
by Sri D S Veeraiah, a social worker, author, poet, and journalist who also served as a member of the Legislative Council for two terms, with an aim to provide quality education to enable students to become successful individuals and responsible citizens. The unique approach in our institution focuses on innovative learning to prepare oneself for contemporary challenges.
Panchasheela believes in education as a tool for liberation and overall development. Since its inception, the institution has worked with a vision to bring about a positive transformation in students and prepare them to be second to none.

We are committed to the principles of Panchasheela as taught by Lord Buddha and encourage our students to adopt these principles in their lives. Our institution prepares students not just to find a job or livelihood, but promotes overall personality development and inculcates leadership qualities to serve society.

Panchasheela Group of Institutions, led by me, has been imparting quality education from elementary to graduation level successfully for the last 30 years. Starting as a free educational establishment, the Panchasheela Group has faced many challenges to set its firm footing at the College Campus.”

Over the past 29 years, Panchasheela College has transformed itself from a local community college to a worldly institution Our focus has always been on preparing graduates to enter the workforce while teaching our students to be leaders. We’ve worked hard to build lasting partnerships with local communities while preparing our graduates to succeed globally. Locally, we continue to offer industry-recognized full- and part-time programs. Whether in our classrooms, our labs or the community, students experience the real world before they even graduate. They’re job-ready, and that’s a fact employers have told us, as more than 88 percent of those who have employed grads are satisfied or very satisfied with their hires. We’ve re-created our College, giving ourselves a unique position in the marketplace. We are now prepared for the next set of challenges: To be more innovative and entrepreneurial, to further exploit the benefits of technology, to creatively engage our employees, to build more bridges with communities and employers, and to see our graduates secure good jobs do meaningful work and have meaningful lives.
Our institution intends to help students become intellectually competent, spiritually mature, morally upright, psychologically integrated, physically healthy, and socially responsible citizens.
Our primary mission is to equip our students with all the skills and talents needed to achieve their cherished goals in life. They should be trained so that they take the lead in creating a just and humane society, where the dignity of the individual is respected and the poor and marginalized are given special care.

Facilities Provided
Each student receives an identity card, which must be produced for all official transactions and surrendered upon leaving the college.
Any incident of ragging will result in immediate disciplinary action. The concerned student will have an opportunity to explain, but unsatisfactory explanations will result in expulsion.
